Summary
To create biodiversity documentation systems for the living plant collections of botanic gardens and to train staff in their use. The aim of this project is to create biodiversity documentation systems for the living plant collections of botanic gardens of the former Soviet Union (FSU) and train botanic staff in their use. Computer software in Russian will be prepared, training courses held and several model systems established to help strengthen the network of botanic gardens in that region and enhance their capacity to undertake biodiversity conservation.
