To produce a technical handbook for the management of botanic gardens. The main objective of this project is to produce a clear technical handbook for the management of botanic gardens, to raise the scientific and educational value of the plant collections in botanic gardens worldwide. This will be a companion volume to The Botanic Gardens Conservation Strategy (published by BGCI in 1989) and will be translated into French and Spanish.
