Summary
This proposal is part of a project to create the Moyen-Bafing National Park (MBNP) in Guinea, aiming to protect the largest critically endangered West African chimpanzee population through: 1) regeneration of forest corridors; 2) stabilization of the hydraulic system; 3) promotion of sustainable agricultural practices and; 4) community conservation education. Environmental rehabilitation through regeneration of 50has of forest to increase connectivity and stabilizing the hydraulic system to benefit local biodiversity and enable improved sustainable agricultural practices for local populations.
