Summary
This project will support fishing communities and government authorities to establish a co-management plan for the Thandwe District coastline in Rakhine State, Myanmar. The plan will improve governance and sustainability of the inshore purse-seine fishery and include practices that recover stocks, mitigate bycatch and increase income stability for fishing communities.
