Summary

This project will reduce reliance on bushmeat in target mining communities around DRC’s Kahuzi-Biega National Park (KBNP) by 1) introducing improved livestock husbandry practices; 2) helping poor and hunting households building financial capacity to benefit from microcredit opportunities; and 3) increasing knowledge and enforcement of bushmeat hunting laws.
